PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize constitution where counter decentering hardly occurs and vibration caused by this hardly occurs while securing good operability of putting in and out laundry articles and sufficient rated capacity. SOLUTION: In the inside of an outer box 1, a nearly cylindrical outer tub 6 is arranged tilting a little forward. At the upper part of the peripheral surface of the outer tub 6, an outer tub opening 7 is provided. The outer tub opening 7 and a laundry article supply port 3 are connected by a supply port packing 8 in a water sealing state. The upper part of the outer tub 6 is elastically supported by the upper part of the outer box 1 by the supply port packing 8, and the lower part is elastically supported by the bottom part of the outer box 1 by dampers 9 at its right and left two places. In the inside of the outer tub 6, a drum 10 is provided in the state of extending forward and backward and being rotatable with a tilting axis C lowering forward from a horizontal direction as a center.
