PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid data repair system. SOLUTION: In a data repair circuit, outputs of a plurality of slice circuits in incoming data to data bits, for example, outputs of one or more slice circuits taken at or in the vicinity of the center of the eye and outputs of one or more slice circuits taken at or in the vicinity of rising and/or falling of the eye are processed by a method for suppressing a bit error rate in comparison with conventional technology.
