PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high reliability resistor for an electron gun structure, the electron gun structure, and a cathode-ray tube, capable of preventing breakage, even if a high voltage is applied to it. SOLUTION: A resistor 4 for an electron gun structure applies a voltage, which is acquired by dividing a voltage at a prescribed resistance division ratio to an electrode provided to the electron gun structure. It comprises an insulating substrate 52, resistance elements 53 for electrode so provided as to correspond to a plurality of terminals on the insulating substrate 52, a resistance element 54 for resistance, which connects between the resistance elements 53 for electrode and comprises a pattern for providing a prescribed resistance value, and an insulating coating layer 55 for coating the resistance element 54 for resistance. At least at one terminal part B, the resistance element 53 for electrode is arranged away from the insulating coating layer 55, and an intermediate resistance element 57 is disposed between the resistance element 53 for electrode and the insulating coating layer 55.
