PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a plasma display panel in which the occurrence of display failure in the display region in the vicinity of a corner part where an exhaust pipe is arranged is suppressed. SOLUTION: In this plasma display panel, two substrates (front face substrate 11 and rear face substrate 16) are oppositely arranged, and surroundings are sealed by a sealing material 48, and an exhaust hole 50 is provided at the corner part of one substrate (rear face substrate 16), and an application starting position of the sealing material 48 (overlapping part 49 of sealing material 48) is provided at a position separated from the exhaust hole 50. Furthermore, the application starting position of the sealing material 48 is established at the corner part different from the corner part in which the exhaust hole 50 exists or in the vicinity of the corner part.
