PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method in which welding of a terminal and a connecting rod is carried out steadily in a welding method of welding integrally the terminal of a lead acid storage battery and the connecting rod by a burner. SOLUTION: In the connection method of the storage battery in which a terminal 1 of the storage battery and a connecting rod 2 are jointed by burner welding, the upper part of the terminal 1 is heated by a first burner 41 rotating over the terminal 1 inserted in a through hole 3 provided on the connecting rod 2, and the surrounding of the through hole 3 of the connecting rod 2 is heated by a second burner 42 that is rotating outside the first burner 41.
