PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal fitting for a heat insulation roof capable of constructing a heat insulation structure on the flat face of a roof foundation by simple work. SOLUTION: A rectangular seat plate 30 in which notches 31U, 31D, 31R and 31L are formed at four sides is fixed to the lower face of the metal fitting 10. The notches 31U, 31D, 31R and 31L are aligned with an eaves-ridge direction marking-off line L<SB>1</SB>and a frontage direction marking-off line L<SB>2</SB>, to position the metal fitting 10. Thereafter, insertion pieces 12R, 12L erecting from both sides of the metal fitting 10 are forced to stick in the lower layer heat insulation material F and insertion pieces 22R, 22L of a spacer 20 are stuck into the lower heat insulation material F along the insertion pieces 12R, 12L. A metal rafter 40 is arranged between the insertion pieces 12R, 12 L. Fixing pieces 14RU, 14RD, 14LU and 14LD are folded inward to fix seals, 43R, 43L of the metal rafter 40. When an upper layer heat insulation material T is fit on the low layer heat insulation material F made by partitioning the periphery by side walls 42R, 42L of the adjacent metal rafters 40, the heat insulation structure is constructed on the concrete roof foundation B.
