PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a tin-electroplated sheet, which prevents formation of a woodgrain pattern without decreasing manufacturing efficiency when manufacturing several sorts of tin-electroplated sheets, and to provide an apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: This method comprises electroplating tin on the surface of a steel strip S, then passing a current to the steel strip S through separately arranged energization rolls 8 and 9, melting tin on the surface by directly resistance-heating the steel strip S between the separately arranged energization rolls 8 and 9, and then cooling and solidifying the molten tin, wherein the length of the steel strip between the separately arranged energization rolls 8 and 9 can be changed by the roll 13 arranged between the separately arranged energization rolls 8 and 9, and thereby a rate of temperature increase of the steel strip S is adjusted.
