PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a hardly discolored adamantane ester without using an acid halide; and to provide a method for easily producing the carboxylic acid ester of an adamantanepolyol in high yield in a short time while hardly causing a side reaction. SOLUTION: The method for producing the carboxylic acid ester of the adamantanepolyol involves subjecting an adamantanediol or an adamantanetriol, with monobasic acids and/or dibasic acids to esterification reaction in the presence of an organic porous material.
