PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeder for long sheets that can set a plurality of long sheets simultaneously and easily, and does not project longer from the outer surface of an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The sheet feeder A for long sheets comprises body attachment/detachment sections 20c, 20c that can be attached to or detached from the outer end section of a sheet insertion opening Ua of the image forming apparatus U for inserting long sheets S; a sheet supporting surface 20a for supporting the front section of the long sheet S while the sheet front end section of the long sheet S is being inserted into the sheet insertion opening Ua; a sheet rear end supporting member 25 for supporting the rear end of the long sheets S at the upper position of the long sheets S being supported on the sheet supporting surface 20a while the sheet front end section of the long sheets S is being inserted into the sheet insertion opening Ua; and a sheet rear section guide member 26 for guiding the sheet rear section of the long sheet S to the upper section while the rear end of the sheet is being supported by the sheet rear end support member 25.
