PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need of a large-scale damping device for eliminating height difference. SOLUTION: This floating body structure 10 comprises a floating body structural body 12, a floating part 14, and a hinge pivoting part 16. The body 12 is formed in a hollow and rather flat square box shape to float a part thereof above a water level. The floating part 14 is formed to store a liquid fluid body 20 such as water and oil movably in the floating body structural body 12. The hinge pivoting part 16 is disposed on the longitudinal one end side of the body 12, and installed between the bottom plate lower surface of the body 12 and a fixed structure 22. When a sea level is vertically moved, the body 12 formed in a hollow shape to float the part thereof above the water level is forced to vertically move according to that vertical movement of the body. Since the hinge pivoting part 16 for swingably connecting is formed, the side of the body on which the hinge pivoting part 16 is formed is restricted to vertically move. Accordingly, the level of the body 12 on the fixed structure 22 side in which the hinge pivoting part 16 is formed is kept unchanged and only the level on the opposite side is moved in the vertical direction.
