PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve responsiveness during transfer from the "ON" state to an intermediate state of a normally open type solenoid valve, in an anti-lock brake controller for a vehicle that comprises the normally open type solenoid valve, a normally closed type solenoid valve, and a diode capable of exhibiting a function of moderately reducing fed current to a coil when power feeding to the coil of the normally open type solenoid valve is blocked, and controls the normally open type solenoid valve by switching among the "ON" state for making a predetermined first current flow to the coil, the "OFF" state for stopping the power feeding to the coil, and the intermediate state for making second current lower than the first current flow. SOLUTION: When the the "ON" state transfers to the intermediate state in the normally open type solenoid valve, a switching means 48 disposed between the diode 47 and a power feeding control means 46, or between the diode 47 and the ground is controlled so as to be blocked until the transfer is completed.
