PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sequential switch of small-sized construction capable of suppressing the cost by the use of an inexpensive, small-stroke switch. SOLUTION: The sequential switch is structured so that a slider 8 to slide in pursuit after the motion of a shift lever in the sequential position is installed on one surface of a case 7 provided in the neighborhood of the shift lever. Inside the case 7, a spring 11 having approximately a U-shape is installed in which the base part is pivoted on a circular shaft 13 and the tops of its left 14 and right arms 15 are engaged with the two sides of the leg part 16 of the slider 8, and two switches 17 and 18 are installed on the inside of the spring 11, and thereby the motion of the slider is sensed.
