PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer tape excellent in visibility, which can be marked with specified patterns, in a transfer tape in which a coating film is transferred to a surface of a material to be coated for marking. SOLUTION: The transfer tape has a transfer layer comprising a release layer, a pigment layer, a protective layer and an adhesive layer on one face of a base material. The pigment layer only, in which the specified patterns are printed by gravure printing, is applied and formed. Then, the protective layer is applied and formed on the whole area of the pigment layer to perform marking with the specified patterns, without spoiling the material to be coated by a transferred adhesive.
