<p>The present invention relates to a method of establishing bi-directional label switched paths in an optical network, which transmits a request of establishing a bi-directional LSP to next node one in backward direction until the last node, with an available resource information based on its link segment and an available upstream/downstream label set said node acquired from available upstream/downstream label set provided by the upstream node. If said bi-directional label establish request is transmitted to the last node, and received available upstream/downstream label set is not empty, the last node may select available upstream label and downstream label from received available upstream/downstream label set, then from the last node of bi-directional LSP, a bi-directional LSP establish response in conjunction with upstream and downstream label selected by said downstream node should be transmitted to next node one by one in forward direction until the first node. Aforementioned scheme can realize the bi-directional LSP establish after a signaling turned back, thereby reduces setup time.</p> |
