<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image forming method and a stereoscopic image forming device which provides an image viewable from greatly turned-around positions. <P>SOLUTION: A transmit side apparatus 1 analyzes each of two-dimensional images taken by a plurality of cameras to extract a background image 101, a building image 102 and an automobile image 103, creates a depth map of each two-dimensional image, and sends them. A receive side apparatus 2 reproduces a plurality of two-dimensional images at once or one of a plurality of two-dimensional images, and forms a stereoscopic image based on the reproduced two-dimensional images and information for stereoscopic visions thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
