<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely judge a breaking mode when having an extremely similar fracture pattern, even when different in the breaking mode. <P>SOLUTION: In this fractography method for a molding of a crystalline polymer material having a spherulite texture, for example, a polyacetal, an aromatic polyester, a polyarylene sulfide, a polyolefin, a polyamide and a mixture thereof, a fracture and a form of a spherulite in a just under side of the fracture from a fracture side are observed by a scanning electron microscope, and a form of the spherulite in the vicinity of the spherulite in a fracture cross-section is observed in addition thereto, when necessary. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
