<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter mounted in multiphase alternating-current rotating electric machine wherein excellent cooling collecting structure is maintained and further the construction is simplified, and downsizing can be implemented. <P>SOLUTION: A cooling fin 100 is a common electrode plate which also functions as a heat radiating member forming the ground line of the inverter 5. A control signal line is connected with a control electrode formed on the principal surface on the front face side of a semiconductor chip which forms the lower arm elements 54 of the inverter 5. The cooling fin 100 is provided with a window for taking out the control electrode wiring on the rear face side. The window is for taking out the control signal line to the back side of the cooling fin 100. Thus, the inverter 5 is constituted in compact size. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
