<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a memory card from being pulled out, without permission and becoming lost. <P>SOLUTION: A digital still camera has a slot cover 16 for covering a card slot for loading of a memory card. The slot cover 16 has a locking frame 26, and an electromagnetic actuator 24 has a locking rod 24a. When a lock operation is performed, the locking rod 24 penetrates into the locking frame 26, to make the slot cover 16 into a locked state.
