<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system using simultaneously NTFS compression for reducing a disc capacity and file encryption for holding secret data in a file, capable of performing the file encryption and the NTFS compression transparently at a file reading or writing time. <P>SOLUTION: The method has a means for discriminating file input/output wherein the NTFS compression is set and released, a means for performing transparently the file encryption at a file input/output time, a means for discarding file data existing in a cache on a memory of the file, and a means for generating explicitly setting of the NTFS compression. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
