PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water storage facility which has a microwave sensor as a water level detecting means arranged outside a tank and therefore able to dispenses with waterproofing measures for the microwave sensor. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the water storage installation, the microwave sensor 60 is set on an outer rear surface of an inner tank 24, and functions to detect decrease in a water level caused by lifting of a float valve body 54. After a set period of time has elapsed since detection of the decrease in the water level, a solenoid valve control circuit functions to open a solenoid valve 40, and therefore water is supplied through the solenoid valve 40 into the inner tank 24. When the water level rises to a predetermined height, the microwave sensor 60 detects the rise, and therefore the solenoid valve control circuit functions to close the solenoid valve 40.
