PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scaffold for washing an automobile capable of providing excellent workability and safety and washing the automobile, particularly the roof part thereof, in stable state, manufacturable easily at low cost. SOLUTION: A support member A comprises a support base body 1, a locking part 2 having curved portions fitted to a tire at right and left side tips thereof, a rise prevention part 3 having a curved portion fitted to the tire 5, and a bracket 4. The locking part 2 is formed at the upper part of the support base body 1 symmetrically in the lateral direction, the rise prevention part 3 is formed at the lower part of the support base body 1, and the bracket 4 is formed of a pair of support members A1 and A2 formed near the upper end of the support base body 1 so as to be vertically projected relative to the support base body 1 and scaffold plates.
