PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcasting apparatus which is equipped with a search function of detecting a receivable channel and is capable of dealing using a remote controller. SOLUTION: In the broadcast receiving apparatus, a CPU 6 and a receiving status detection part 10 are included, the receivable channel is searched and stored in a memory 11, and the channel stored in the memory 11 is displayed on an OSD display part 7 to perform receiving. A judgement part 14 is provided for judging whether the search channel is registered and judgement conditions for the judgement part 14 and display conditions for the judged result on the OSD display part 7 can be set by a remote controller 13.
