PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a node selection system capable of automatically selecting a node located at the shortest distance. SOLUTION: The node selection system for selecting one of a plurality of nodes connected to a network, is provided with: a plurality of the nodes having an identifier advertising wireless LAN apparatus; and a computer for allowing a wireless LAN apparatus to receive identifiers of a plurality of the nodes transmitted from the identifier advertising wireless LAN apparatus and connected to a node with the identifier received at a maximum electric field strength to allow the node to perform processing.
