PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste liquid treatment method for: efficiently treating waste liquid which contains a hydrophilic binder and inorganic particulates; and obtaining, from the waste liquid, a solid content which is precipitated by coagulation and contains little halogen component. SOLUTION: In the waste liquid treatment method, at least one inorganic coagulant is added to the waste liquid which contains the hydrophilic binder and the inorganic particulates by the ratio of 1:2 to 1:10.
