PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network relaying apparatus, to which a plurality of terminals whose consumed power changes depending on their operating states are connected, which prevents the occurrence of a stop of power supply and a system-down fault or the like caused by exceeding the power feeding upper limit of the relaying apparatus when the operation state changes. SOLUTION: The network relaying apparatus is provided with: a feeding section for supplying power to the connected terminals; and a switch section for conducting data communication. The feeding section includes: a feeding interface section 111 for supplying power to the connected terminals; a feeding power measurement section 112 for measuring supplied power; a power calculation section 115 for applying weighting conversion to the consumed power measured by the feeding power measurement section; a feeding control section 116 for informing a port control section about feeding start or stop information on the basis of the converted power; and a power management section 114 provided with the port control section 117 for instructing the feeding start or stop to the feeding interface section on the basis of the feeding start or stop information.
