PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program control method capable of executing much more programs by effectively utilizing a limited memory area, and to provide an information processor. SOLUTION: An execution order is decided so that a plurality of extended BIOS to be execute can be executed in the order of the extended BIOS whose program size is larger especially at the time of executing the extended BIOS (at the time of copying from an ROM in an extended card to a main memory 203) based on the size of each of those extended BIOS so that the plurality of extended BIOS can be executed according to the execution order. Also, when there are a plurality of extended BIOS whose program sizes at execution time are the same, the extended BIOS are executed in the order of the larger program size resident in the main memory 203 (the resident program size of the extended BIOS) posterior to execution.
