PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver for liquid crystal driving that can operate common drivers of 2nd and succeeding stages normally and reduce power consumption when common drivers adaptive to comb-tooth driving are cascaded and connected in a plurality of stages and used. SOLUTION: The driver for liquid crystal driving which is constituted by cascading and connecting a plurality of drivers Y10 and Y20 adaptive to comb-tooth driving is provided with a means of putting the time width of output data of comb-tooth driving adaptive common drivers of the respective stages to the time width of input data back to the same width without handing the time width of the output data of the common drivers of the respective stages to common drivers of following stages in a doubled state by using a 2nd clock (internal XINH) for thinning-out driving obtained dividing the frequency of a 1st reference clock (external YSCL) for the driver driving by two as to the comb-shape driving adaptive common drivers of the respective stage following the initial stage (except the final stage).
