PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical drawing drain constituted to be easily and positively attached and detached to and from a drain body without screw-fastening. SOLUTION: In the vertical drawing drain, a vertically extending rod member 13 is slidably insert-fitted to the top center of the drain cover 5, and the lower end of the rod member 13 is integrally provided with a stop bar 14 projected in the radial direction of a drain body 1, while the upper end of the rod member 13 is provided with a knob 15 so that the rod member 13 can be rotationally operated from the outside of the drain cover 5. A spring 16 is interposed between the knob 15 and the top of the drain cover 5. The stop bar 14 is latched to the inner peripheral surface of the drain body 1, and a plurality of latching collars 17 are formed in circular arc shapes to impede the lift of the drain cover 5 from the drain body 1.
