PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upward feeding type polishing machine capable of uniformly polishing the surfaces of pachinko game balls. SOLUTION: Randomly disposing embossed portions 15a on the surfaces of a plurality of guide grooves provided on an upward feeding guide 13 for supporting a polishing cloth N can change the rotating directions of pachinko game balls B, which are going up along the guide grooves. The linear movement of the pachinko game balls B causes uneven polishing because the same portions of their surfaces contact the polishing cloth, but it is possible to uniformly polish the entire surfaces of the pachinko game balls by changing the moving directions thereof.
