A seal plate is installed for sealing tightly an exhaust hole provided to a glass substrate of the back side of a PDP (flat display panel). The air is directly exhausted from internal spaces via the exhaust hole and gas is sealed into an enclosure. The seal plate is heat-secured to the exhaust hole so as to seal the internal spaces tightly. |
