<p>The invention relates to the thermochemical hardening of products, mainly having residual surface stress, for example metal products consisting of hot-rolled parts, metal wireworks including metal-woven, filtering fabrics, fastener threads, composite ceramic articles etc. Said invention makes it possible to improve the efficiency of product processing by thermochemical hardening in gas mixtures containing specific active components. The inventive vacuum furnace device for product processing by thermochemical hardening comprises a vacuum working chamber embodied in the form of a thick-walled metallic vacuum-tight cage which geometrically matches the distribution of external heat-generating elements in such a way that a temperature irregularity along the internal walls of the vacuum chamber is minimum for the operating heating rate.</p> |
