<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a driver that an anchor is not returned to a rear position and is not in a proper restraining condition with a seat belt, in a seat belt device for a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This seat belt device moves an anchor 14 forward from a rear position by an anchor moving device for the purpose of facilitating attachment of a seat belt 11 by a driver. After the driver fastens the seat belt 11, the anchor 14 is returned to the rear position. The seat belt device is equipped with an anchor position alarming lamp 49. The anchor position alarming lamp 49 is lit on in response to an on-operation of an ignition switch 46. The lamp is lit off under a condition that it is detected by a buckle signal detection switch 45 that the driver fastens the seat belt 11, and it is detected by an anchor position sensor 43 that the anchor 14 is at the rear position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
