PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a staircase tread material that suits all angular shapes of staircases, is cheap and prevents people going up and down the staircase from missing their footing. SOLUTION: A synthetic resin sheet 4 that can be laid over the surface of a tread 3 of a staircase 2 and a synthetic resin corner member 7 in a bent shape corresponding to a step shape of the staircase 2 from the tread 3 to a rise 5 are integrally formed, and a corner piece 12 nearly equal to the curvature of an angle 6 of the staircase 2 is removably attached to the back 7b of the corner member 7 corresponding to the angle 6 of the staircase 2.
