<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple-to-construct device for ventilation under an eaves which suppresses deformation caused by thermal expansion while ensuring flame interruption performance, and which enhances fire protecting performance. <P>SOLUTION: This device for the ventilation under the eaves is equipped with an upper frame 1 and a lower frame 2 wherein a steel plate is formed in a box shape by press working; a plurality of slits 6 and 9 which are formed in a line along a longitudinal direction are alternately arranged at the bottom 5 of the upper frame 1 wherein sleeves 4 are integrally formed on both longitudinal sides, and the bottom 8 of the lower frame 2 which is fixed to the upper frame 1 via a prescribed clearance; and a belt-like thermally foamed material 20 is arranged along the inner wall surface of the upper frame 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
