PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal block allowing a visual check from outside that an insertion tip of a lead wire is inserted into a designated seating position of an lead wire insertion hole. SOLUTION: The terminal block comprises check piece displacement means for movably holding a lead wire insertion check piece 40 on a movable pressing piece 30, and for displacing the upper end of the lead wire insertion check piece 40 to a check position Y where a visual check can be done from outside, by press operation caused by the insertion tip 81 when it is inserted into the lead wire insertion hole 31 to reach the designated seating position X.
