PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansible winding shaft of simple constitution at a low cost and to prevent pollution by putting only incombustibles in a wound state when scrapping. SOLUTION: In this coreless winding shaft, a reel 9 is provided with cutouts for allowing angle bars 8 to project and recede, and the reel 9 is provided therein with a cylindrical body and a feed screw 3 formed in the cylindrical body integrally with a grip handle 4. With the rotation of the feed screw 3, two or more angle bars 8 can be expanded/contracted by push links 6 and a sliding member 5 screwed with the feed screw 3. The angle bars 8 are put in the enlarged state by the rotation of the feed screw 3, and a continuous edge formed by trimming in bag making is wound in roll shape around the outer periphery of the reel 9 and the enlarged angle bars 8. The angle bars 8 are then put in the contracted state by the reverse rotation of the feed screw 3 to pull a roll of the continuous edge out of the reel 9. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
