PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer mirror having a structure that reduces dead angle of the side of an automobile, improves degree of design freedom, and can easily mount a mirror base. SOLUTION: The outer mirror comprises a mirror base 10 projected from the side surface of a side window 40 of the automobile toward its side part, and a mirror housing 20 suspended on the downside of the mirror base 10. The mirror base 10 is engaged with a mounting bracket 30 fixed to the outside surface of the side window 40 to complete the mounting work. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
