The present invention provides an optical delay line for delaying optical signals and optical phases including: a plurality of radiation guides; and a plurality of optical couplers having fist and second terminals coupled to a coupling region having reflecting surface, each of the first and second terminals associated with one of the plurality of radiation guides to form an optical radiation path with substantially low back reflection.
