The invention relates to a composition for the oxidation dyeing of keratin fibers, such as human keratin fibers, comprising, in a medium suitable for dyeing, at least one oxidation dye in the form of a sulphate salt and at least one cationic poly(vinyllactam). The invention also relates to the dyeing methods and devices using the composition.
