A low-pollution liquid fuel for internal combustion engines which comprises 10 to 75 wt.% alcohol ingredient comprising one or more aliphatic monohydric alcohols having 2 to 6 carbon atoms in the molecule and 25 to 90 wt.% (un)saturated hydrocarbon ingredient, and contains an aluminum corrosion inhibitor in such an amount that it can prevent aluminum corrosion at a given temperature, the aluminum corrosion inhibitor comprising at least one of methanol, glycol type hydrocarbons, ketone type hydrocarbons, ester type hydrocarbons, and aldehyde type hydrocarbons.
