<p>The pressure cooker (1) assembled of a container part (2), a handle (5, 6), and a lid (3) can be closed by rotating the lid (3) and locked with a locking device (8) positioned opposite the handle (5, 6). A spring (19) supported bolt (15) attached to the upper shell (10) of the locking unit (8) is guided along a sliding surface located inside the lower shell (9) until it engages with a recess. When the pressure increases inside the pot (7) a locking bolt (21) is lifted and inserted into an opening (20) at the upper shell (10), preventing the lid (3) from an unintentional opening.</p> |
