<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when the laser beam quantity from a laser beam source changes, an erase power setting current is corrected by an APC circuit in order to compensate for the laser beam quantity change, but a peak power setting current which is generated from an ACC circuit is kept at a constant current, so that ε value is shifted from a state in which the value is set to be suitable for disk recording to degrade a recording quality. <P>SOLUTION: In this device, a peak power setting current to be generated from the ACC circuit in oreder to maintain the ε value constant according to this variation in the case where the erase power setting current to be generated from the APC circuit is changed is made to be corrected. As a result, when the erase power setting current is changed by the light quantity variation of the laser beam, the ε value is made not to be changed by correcting the erase power setting current to be generated from the ACC circuit corresponding to the change. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
