<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein many continuity failures of a touch panel occur. <P>SOLUTION: In this touch panel, a pair of upper and lower substrates wherein a transparent electrode and a drawing electrode for connecting the transparent electrode are provided on one face of a transparent insulating substrate are arranged oppositely through a sealing material with the transparent electrode and the drawing electrode placed inside, and a connection electrode is formed on the substrate side for performing electricity supply from the outside of the upper and lower substrates, and the connection electrode is connected to the drawing electrode on the other substrate side, to thereby perform electric conduction. In the connection part between a feeding electrode 37 and the drawing electrode 15, the connection tip part 15a of one electrode has a long cylindrical shape, and the connection tip part 37a of the other electrode has a shape provided with a recessed part 37b and also a shape provided with an escape part 37d of a conductive adhesive 16 in the recessed part. Since the conductive adhesive 16 is accumulated in the escape part 37d, the adhesive is prevented from oozing outside and being brought into contact with an adjacent electrode, to thereby prevent occurrence of short circuit to another electrode and continuity failure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
