PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize diffused radiation; to enhance X-ray dosage efficiency; and to easily, further accurately and further efficiently manufacture a cast collimator. SOLUTION: This collimator can be manufactured from a material of a high atomic number with proper optional high density, and is provided with channels 211 and 213 and vanes 210 and 212 of special design for allowing highly accurate casting of the collimator adjusted to required accuracy. The channels and the vanes are desirably formed in a taper shape. The collimator and a filter/collimator assembly are constituted so as to minimize an X-ray dosage to a patient by minimizing a diffused radiation generating mechanism, and removing much of the diffused radiation received to the patient by the collimator.
