PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple direction input device which can be operated surely by a vertical direction sliding of a keytop at the time of pushing the keytop. SOLUTION: The multiple direction input device has an operating piece 15 which is disposed in a position shifted from a pushing operation portion of the keytop 14 toward inside of a rotation type electrical component 3, and a return spring 23 which returns the keytop 14 is installed between the keytop 14 and a guide member 32.
