PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data recorder in which common data beforehand stored in a common data storage region, that is set in a data storage section, are repeatedly used and the data recording speed for a recording medium is improved. SOLUTION: An independent data region which stores independent data is set within a main data region that stores data to be recorded. When an address signal (a), which is used to read the data to be recorded from the main data region, indicates a region other than the independent data region, an address discrimination section 6 outputs a discrimination signal to an address conversion section 7. The section 7 converts the signal (a) to an address signal for the common data storage region in response to the decision signal.
