HEAT INSULATING PANEL AND ITS CONNECTION PART STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the sealing performance of a vertical joint part and to keep performance over a long period of time while easily and stably supporting a heat insulating panel arranged at a part directly above an opening, on a sash at the upper part of the opening saving time and effort at a construction site. SOLUTION: Both cross direction side ends orthogonally adjoining both side ends formed with a fitting projector 4 and a fitting recess 5 in a panel body P of the heat insulating panel B are formed with side end face connecting pieces 11 for covering side faces while facing the side faces of a heat insulating material 3 including a covering pieces 9 by bending a metallic outer skin 1 on the surface side onto the back face side. A connecting piece 11A for covering the side face of the covering piece 9 out of the side end face connecting piece 11 is formed in almost a similar shape to the covering piece 9 and narrower than the other connecting piece 11B.
