PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure sensitive adhesive double coated sheet usable in winding a plurality of slit web materials around a plurality of cores mounted to one winding shaft, and to provide a method of joining the web materials to the cores. SOLUTION: This pressure sensitive adhesive double coated sheet has pressure sensitive adhesive double coated pieces having adhesive layers on both sides of substrates, and mold release paper on both sides of the pressure sensitive adhesive double coated pieces. At least one mold release paper is formed of one sheet material with a plurality of pressure sensitive adhesive double coated pieces arranged at prescribed spaces in the long side direction of the sheet material. The pressure sensitive adhesive double coated sheet is joined to stick the pressure sensitive adhesive double coated pieces to the plurality of cores while adjusting the long side direction to the direction of the winding shaft.
