CIRCUIT FOR COLLECTIVELY SHAPING OPTICAL WAVEFORM FOR MULTI-CHANNELS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collectively suppress intensity noise components of respective channels formed during transmission of wavelength multiplexed signal light in a DWDM system.

SOLUTION: The circuit for collectively shaping optical waveform for multi-channels is provided with an optical amplifier for amplifying the wavelength multiplexed signal light of channel interval f, an optical separator for separating the wavelength multiplexed signal light of channel interval f into the wavelength multiplexed signal light of odd number channel and the wavelength multiplexed signal light of even number channel which have channel interval 2f, a first nonlinear optical fiber and a second nonlinear optical fiber for respectively inputting the wavelength multiplexed signal light of the odd number channel and even number channel, a first demultiplexing filter and first multiplexing filter, and a second demultiplexing filter and second multiplexing filter for demultiplexing the wavelength multiplexed signal light of the odd number channel and even number channel and again multiplexing the same and an optical multiplexer for multiplexing and outputting the wavelength multiplexed signal light of the odd number channel outputted from the first multiplexing filter and the wavelength multiplexed signal light of the even number channel outputted from the second multiplexing filter.
