<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flange coupling with less welding distortion, suppressing the thermal distortion of flange portions in a trouble-fee range even when welding pipes to the opening ends of short pipe portions of the flange coupling. <P>SOLUTION: The metal flange coupling 10 has the flange portions 11, 12 and the short pipe portions 13, 14 integrally connected to the flange portions 11, 12, respectively. When it is used, the opening ends 24, 25 of the short pipe portions 13, 14 are welded to other pipes 26, 27. Around intermediate positions between each of the opening ends 24, 25 of the short pipe portions 13, 14 and each of the flange portions 11, 12, heat equalizing materials 28, 29 are arranged which are formed of metal more heat conductive than base material for the short pipe portions 13, 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
